Respite

Sink into pain
When hope runs dry
Ride thrills untamed;
Explore the sky.

But when you rise
From darkened well,
And when your highs
No longer swell--

When shadows flee
Or bright skies cloud,
And what you see
Has no false shroud...

There stillness bides
If you would seek;
When peace you find,
Drink sweet relief.

I want to dedicate the above poem to the seekers. I wish them contentment.

  1. Beautiful phrasing and sentiment. I'm so glad you've been able to find relief.

    (Also, I'll see you in just a few days! YAY!)

  2. yayyyyyyy!!!!! cant wait cant wait!!
    thanks im glad you liked it. i hope i got across that it is okay to feel deep sorrow without feeling guilty and trying to block it out, and its okay to enjoy the highs without trying to pull back and act normal, but in between you should feel peace and not unstable and depressed... because THAT is not normal. you should have a good, stable medium. ...lol so thats pretty much what the poem said, but just in case!!
